Coinbase is one of the most popular platforms for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. It has a mobile app that users can use to deposit and withdraw their cryptocurrency using their mobile device. The Pocket Arena Dashboard is an all-in-one tracker that provides users with a user-friendly interface. The dashboard tracks all eSport player activity such as weekly/monthly ratings, King’s position, top arena winners of the day, battle replays and more.
As part of your efforts to grow in the Web3 ecosystem the Arena Dashboard was made live mid August 2022. The dashboard also includes a social component and is open for everyone to access, therefore it comes without login restrictions.
Activity is tracked in real time and provides detailed statistics about player performances in NFT Castle Arena. The dashboard also includes a Leaderboard and an achievements system that lets users compete against each other.

- Here is an update on Falk, the $POC powered layer 2 sidechain by #PocketArena team. We successfully tested the bridge between ETH and BSC for ERC-721. Falk will be stronger than any other ETH sidechains due to this multi bridging feature and will be widely used for white-label NFT minting/marketplaces for brands.

2. Interactive emoji avatars in NFT Castle Town Metaverse Zone
Being interactive is the key element in NFT Castle Town. We have provided another feature of what it will look like when emoji avatars interact and move around in Castle Town buildings. Users can select their Emoji Avatar, enter their screen name and join the room. Interactive elements like gamification and chat features will also be added to this.

The spectator mode is now live and is slated to be a key feature that will help users develop their battle strategies. Under “My Battles” users will see the “WATCH” button where the battle gameplay can be replayed. This can in turn help players evaluate and rebuild their attack strategies.

Your emoji avatar in NFT Castle Town will be able to earn you 20% XP whenever other players rent your emoji avatar. With the help of various games and activities in arcade buildings, the renters can earn XP by playing various avatar games and branded games. Under a XP sharing structure 80% of XP earnings are for the player while the Emoji Avatar owner get 20% from the proceedings.

2. Pocket Arena Team Organises a NFT & Virtual Asset Conference, Embassy of Switzerland in the Republic of Korea.
The Swiss ambassador in South Korea, Mrs. Dagmar Schmidt Tartagli gives the welcome speech for the conference.
On June 30th, there was a special conference held at the Embassy of Switzerland in South Korea to learn about Swiss NFT & Crypto asset regulation frameworks, accounting and taxation. This conference was co-hosted by JSCO Holdings and SACA (Swiss Asia Crypto Alliance) and organised by Emoji Games. The ambassador, Mrs. Dagmar Schmidt Tartagli gave an opening welcome speech for the conference, talking about the Crypto Valley in Switzerland. This was an invitation-only event for 40 VIPs who are the key stakeholders of the Korean blockchain community ecosystem.

3. Development updates of the week
In this week’s development update, users can now upgrade their NFT Castles with $POC at NFT Castle Market. The POC transferred from Metamask will be known as mPOC. This new “mPOC” refers to a membership POC, which is transferred from Metamask into PA Wallet.
We also had a version update (V. 2.6.31) for NFT Castle Defense. In this update, E-points have now become more affordable and the maximum pending attacks are decreased for all areas ( Forest — 3, Desert -5, City — 11, King — 13). Also the battle background images are improved in this update.

Introduction to mPOC
We are pleased to introduce a new POC category — mPOC to enrich the user experience and fun for Castle Defense and to extend the utility of POC.
mPOC is a short name of membership POC which is basically, the POC that is transferred from Metamask into PA Wallet. Either the purchased POC (currently from Pancake Swap) or the aPOC or bPOC withdrawn to your Metamask wallet, can be deposited back into PA Wallet for the purpose of upgrading your NFT Castles and topping-up your Arena Pool XP via mPOC.
In this guide we will highlight aPOC, bPOC and talk about the uses and features of mPOC.
- aPOC is nothing but wPOC which was acquired by playing PVE mode of Castle Defense before launching PvP mode (of Castle Arena) and has undergone a prudent audit by the team at Pocket Arena.
- The audit is carried out as per the following rules: XPs earned from playing max 20 times per hour is allowed whereas XPs earned from playing more than 20 times per hour is cancelled.
- bPOC is the shortened version of battle POC which is converted from tXP which is acquired in Castle Arena, by participating in battles.
- tXP earned and accumulated can be converted to bPOC.
- mPOC is the POC that the user deposits from MetaMask wallet to PA account.
- mPOC is that it can be withdrawn without any limitation.
- mPOC can also be spent for buying items like Epoint, player XP, Castle, Castle Item, Attack Strategies and more.

Going Back To Fundamentals
However, having experienced the recent two major disastrous events (The 600M$ hacking of Ronin/Axie Infinity & Terra-Luna collapse) that came out of the 100% on-chain projects, investors have now started to realize that giving full-betting on this kind of projects can be very dangerous.
Here are the main overlooked factors.
100% algorithm-based DeFi projects -there are always some structural errors and coding errors in any technology and software development which needs constant updates and patches. Applying this directly to finance can lead to a disastrous situation. That’s why most developed financial centers like Switzerland use human beings for the final release of funds. It takes at least 24 hours for this monitoring process for fund transfer. Conservative approach but it is safe.
100% on-chain GameFi projects, -there are always bots, abusers and hackers who only want to exploit. They are pretty smart but cancerous enough to kill your project. Thus the developers should take into consideration this in their development to prevent these kinds of users and need to move faster than the abusers and should not compromise the security for the users’ convenience.
Today, Pocket Arena runs the following way.
1. Pocket Arena works in a centralized governance manner using database and Hyperledger private blockchain.
2. Our compliance team and bot detection systems are monitoring user behaviors 24/7. We also receive abuse reports from our community.
3. For users who withdraw above a certain threshold of POC (bPOC), KYC is required.
4. POC withdrawal is subject to our finance team’s manual review and approval. It takes about 1–2 days but there is no risk of system hacking.
5. After most of the malicious accounts cleaned-up, our Public Pool XP has decreased significantly, but the positive takeaway is that users enjoy fair esports and fair rewards. Now the winning rate over land is much higher (it was almost impossible to win any land in a legit way) thus, fair players are more motivated to play the Castle Defense.

At the end of the day, any Web 3.0 projects need to provide intrinsic values for end users apart from the used technology itself. The end user normally is not interested to know and they do not need to know which technology is used underneath.
I have no doubt that the paradigm shift from Web 2 to Web 3 has already begun. Having said that, the journey to a reliable and stable 100% on-chain Web.3.0 gaming platform may take some more time than we expected. In the current transitional period, I believe hybrid solutions like Pocket Arena (adding the benefits of public blockchains on top of centralized structure) would be more and more popular and practically useful.

We have announced the new XP sharing system. In this revision the Public Pool XP share is changed from from the current 20% to 50%. This change is effective from 20th May 2022.

Since we have published our Dev To-Do List a month ago in April, our dev team has been busy with these tasks and the following have been updated and to be updated in June.
There were lots of operational issues such as blacklisting rule breakers accounts (We have banned now nearly 2000 accounts) and further improvements works were done in order to prevent these abuses from the API and the system (V)
