Background
Due to a massive increase of Pocket Arena users, lots of people are in a long queue to rent NFT castles. Considering this, we are starting a special event (with 3-5 times of series) to provide a special rent of NFT Castles owned by Emoji Games followed by transfer of the ownership from Emoji Games to you at the special price of EUR 98. This is applicable to those who are staking a minimum of 1000 USD of POC for 3 months.
These NFT Castles were initially rented by Emoji Games a few months ago to players and some XP have been collected in these castles. We are glad to rent these castles to those who are keen to play Castle Defense with the following terms and conditions .
Event Summary

How It Works
Fill in this Castle Renting Event Application Form and submit. Ensure you are ready with the following:
- Your PA ID details (User Name, Email ID and 12 digit code ID)
- Your POC purchase TX link. (min. 1000 USD worth of POC) from PancakeSwap effective from 29th Dec 2021.
- Choose your one preferred castle number from the list.

After the successful submission of application, you will receive a confirmation email from service@pocketarena.com within 1-3 working days. After receiving the confirmations go to “Manual Contract” section on the castle selection menu, search your selected NFT Castle number and request “Rent”. The Pocket Arena Team be alerted and will allow you to rent the respective castle.
You can continue to rent the NFT Castle, as long as you have not sold the POC until the POC staking system is completed. As soon as your purchased POC (min. 1000 USD of purchase) is staked for 3 months (130% APR), you can make the payment of EUR98 and transfer the ownership of the NFT Castle to yourself.
POC staking may be available in late Jan 2022 like below ( example of how it may look). However the exact date may be announced.
Please note the following terms and conditions.
- The POC purchase should be made on 29th Dec 2021 or later.
- Upon staking, users are required to connect their Metamask wallets and sign in with their PA ID. Therefore, your wallet address submitted in the application should match with the connecting address upon staking.
- If you have submitted another person’s purchase TX link in the application form, your Pocket Arena account will be blacklisted and restricted from any events in the future.
- Your renting may be discontinued if you sell your POC upon renewing the rent contract.
- If you sell your POC before staking is complete or if you have not made the payment of EUR98 within the due date, your right to claim the ownership for the Castle will be forfeited.
- One PA account can send only one application with one unique wallet address.

This leaves an important question on the table: how can pioneers in this industry excite people enough to want to spend a substantial amount of their time and money in a digital format. Would the metaverse need to be futuristic in context, closer to the real world, composed of online avatars or designed for gamers? Surprisingly, among the top answers is esports. Here’s why.
By providing the world, and more specifically, gamers, the opportunity to battle with each other and earn real rewards, some incentive is given for people to participate in this digital space. For this reason, the concept of “play-to-earn,” or P2E, becomes crucial in providing power back to the players that support the game, rather than one of two members of the gaming duopoly that exists today.
Therefore, this business model takes an open economy, provides financial benefits to all participants in it and further guarantees that any games earned don’t ever leave the player’s possession. By taking esports and the metaverse and combining it with NFT castles into this old-school strategy or castle defense game, Pocket Arena was born.
Positioned for an upwards trajectory
The difference is rather than allowing metaverse entrance through the sale of land plots that can be purchased by people who already have a large amount of capital at their disposal, the game is targeted to reward those with good gaming skills. Therefore, land plots are provided to esports players to enhance, a decision that has guided the rest of the initial game development.
The team’s flagship game, Castle Defense, already accounts for more than 10,000 daily active users that span across the globe, including participants from the Philippines, Vietnam, India, the United States and South Korea, spending on average 30 min per user in the Pocket Arena. With initial success, the game’s evolution will include the introduction of guilds, or in other words, groups of professional esports players who come together to manage NFT castles and further increase their in-game value. The NFT Castle price was initially sold at 49 EUR, and currently, these are being traded at 800EUR depending on the strength level of the Castle by showing 3.3 times of value increase within three months time.

Opening the land map
Pocket Arena has announced the closing of a $2.14 million private round by selling 3.3% of the total supply of Pocket Arena Token (POC) from several industry-leading investors, including Signum Capital, Unanimous Capital, Legion Ventures, LD Capital, Ethereal Capital, Brotherhood Ventures, Exnetwork, Halvings Capital, Master Ventures, Calamari Ventures, Minted Lab and Standard Merchant, as well as leading influencers such as Slavik Junge, Alexander Kondrashov, Evan Luthra and others.
Alongside this funding, Pocket Arena Token has successfully listed on PancakeSwap (CAKE), allowing users to cash out and trade. With strong backing, the team has recently released their Land Map, where the 5000 NFT Castle owners are able to look at and choose a plot of land for their own NFT Castle. This PvP (players-versus-players) battle called Castle Arena will kick off in mid-January 2022.

Introducing aPOC
The team at Pocket Arena has been working hard to create a sustainable and fair gaming ecosystem. In other Play2Earn gaming projects, we have seen multiple cases where users can be manipulative in nature.
In the Pocket Arena ecosystem, our users enjoy playing games in a legitimate way but we have experienced a handful (less than 5%) of users who are abusing this ecosystem and harming other users only by exploiting the games.
Even though these malicious users are not many in terms of numbers, we have investigated that they have exchanged enormous amounts of total XP into wPOC that damages most of other healthy users and investors.
Why aPOC?
Since the launch of NFT Castle Defense, we have been serving a number of notices and warnings to users, that bot gaming activities are not allowed in Pocket Arena.
Back in Sep 2021, we audited Castle XP, downgraded quite a few NFT Castles and reduced their XP which was acquired illegitimately. i.e by multitap gaming, bot playing, etc.
In order to create a sustainable, healthy and fair esports gaming ecosystem, we are also starting an audit for players wPOC to detect those which have been collected in illegitimate ways.
Therefore we are introducing “aPOC” which means audited, KYC’ed and approved POC which can be cashed out into Metamask wallet and can be used to buy NFT Castles and other NFT items in Pocket Arena.
How to transfer my wPOC to aPOC
- In Q1 2022, Team Pocket Arena will conduct a special audit on wPOC collected since the launch of Castle Defense (July 2021). Depending on the result of the audit, necessary actions will be taken which will include retrieving wPOC and/or banning malicious accounts for extreme cases.
- After the audit is complete, users are required to complete their KYC which includes ID and mobile phone verification.
After the successful completion of the above 2 steps, then only wPOC will be converted to aPOC. Users with aPOC will be allowed to do the following:
– Withdrawal to your Metamask wallet (New fee policy — You must have at least 20 POC in your Metamask wallet to withdraw your POC next time.).
– Purchase of NFT Castle in the P2P NFT Castle Market and other NFT items in Pocket Arena.
Most of Pocket Arena users who did not use bots/multitab playing have nothing to worry about, because this audit will only hamper the accounts who have practiced malicious activities. This process will benefit the most of users and investors who want to enjoy and grow this Pocket Arena together.
Castle Arena New Revenue Share Structure
This article will highlight the updated XP share structure in NFT Castle Defense and Castle Arena. Before we discuss the XP flow, let’s talk about the concept of Land,Castle Arena and how they are co-related to each other.
Land in Castle Arena
If you own an NFT Castle, you are entitled to receive land for your castle for free. With this land you can fight battles with an aim to acquire your opponents land and earn passive income from that captured land.

The new XP share structure
XP are in-game experience points earned in Castle Defense mainly through Daily Challenges, PVE Stage and Castle Arena. The figure below shows the new XP share structure for Castle Arena
To understand how the new XP share works, we will break down the figure below into the following sections:
- XP Earned and distributed through Daily Challenges and PVE (Player versus Environment) stage.
- XP Earned and distributed through Castle Arena.
- XP distributed according to the Player and the Castle Owner contract.
- Using Player XP in case of insufficient Arena Pool XP
XP Earned and distributed through Daily Challenges and PVE (Player versus Environment) stage.
As mentioned earlier in Castle Defense, XP’s are earned through Daily Challenges and PVE (Player versus Environment) stages. All XP’s earned here are immediately stored in the Arena Pool.
From the Arena Pool, 80% of XP will be distributed to the Arena XP, which will later be used for entry fee for Castle Arena, and 20% to the Castle XP, which will be used for Castle update. But this Castle XPs will expire after 180 days.
XP Earned and distributed through Castle Arena.
In Castle Arena there is no limit on the number of matches hence no limit on the XP earning capacity. You can set your own attack and defense in Castle Arena. If the attacker wins the match, he gains the opponents lands and both entry fee XPs and if the defender wins, he gets both entry fee XPs. The same is highlighted in the figure below.
After winning, 90% XP will be distributed to the Temporary Space and 10% XP will be distributed to the Public Pool.
From which, the 90% is converted into 100% and then from that, 20% goes back into the Arena Pool supply, and then the remaining 80% is distributed to the Castle owner and player as shown below.
XP distributed according to the Player and the Castle Owner contract.
Continuing from the above figure, 80% XP is distributed between the Owner of the NFT Castle and the Player in accordance to the terms agreed in the contract.
Talking about the public pool in Castle Arena, the 10% is converted into 100% and then every 24 hours, the XPs will be automatically distributed between current landowners.
The distribution breakdown of how much XP goes into each area of land is shown below.

It’s important to note that there are less land slots available for higher tiered lands. So, the XP percentage from the public pool is split between fewer castles, hence why the king land slots, shown here with 3%, is the most powerful in the game.
Using Player XP in case of insufficient Arena Pool XP
If the Arena Pool does not have enough XP for Castle Arena, the player can use its own XP (The participation ratio is 2:1. This means that to use player XP once, you have to play 2 times with Arena Pool XP) and in this case, the distribution breakdown is different.
85% XP will be distributed to the player, 5% will be distributed to the castle owner and 10% will be distributed to the Arena Pool.

In order to bring the Pocket Arena Metaverse to life, we are excited to introduce NFT Emoji Avatars to represent yourself and express your characters and emotions in NFT Castle Town.

How To Reserve the first 100 edition of NFT Emoji Avatar

Terms and Conditions apply
- You need to hold the purchased POC until the staking is completed in Jan 202. Your NFT Emoji avatar will be sent to your account after the staking is complete and after you pay EUR98.
- The submitted wallet address that bought POC in Google Form should stay the same by the time of staking the POC in Jan 2022. If the address is changed, you will no longer be eligible.
- We will inform you of the closing of this event once the first 100 applications are successfully reserved.
- This reservation ticket is not a lottery, but this is a 100% guaranteed ticket to purchase one of the first 100 NFT Emoji Avatars at 98EUR under this terms.
- 100 unique avatars will be available for your selection in Jan 2022 (Dates to be decided)

What is a Knight?
Brave Knights will fend off a spectrum of monsters marching towards your castle. Nothing is better than a traditional mounted armored soldier when it comes to close combat. Equip this defender with multiple items in order to enhance his battle abilities, both offensively and defensively.
What is a Wizard?
Gallant Wizards will cast powerful spells on enemy hordes and protect your castle from damage. Wizards come in handy when resisting attacking monsters from a distance. As you progress in the game, you can equip the Wizard with various items by using your XPs, upgrading his abilities as well.
Knights Retrofit Upgradable Items
There are five items if a player wants to upgrade the Knight. The items available are as follows:
Knight’s Sword
A steel sword that’s designed for battles against monsters.
Iron Helmet
The helmet covers the head of the Knight and offers a great protection against damage.
Iron Amour
A steel chest that’s designed for brave knights who battle monsters at the forefront.
Iron Boots
A pair of heavy iron boots better suited for knights.
Knight’s Ring
A rare piece of jewelry that brings immortality to its wearer.
Wizards Retrofit Upgradable Items
There are five items if a player wants to upgrade the Wizard. The items available are as follows:
Wooden Wand
A staff made from the branch of an ancient tree which holds vast magical powers.
Wizard Hood
A mystic hat, made specifically for wizards, to boost their attack speed.
Fabric Robe
An exclusive robe for wizards that protect them from various dangers.
Leather Boots
A pair of leather boots better suited for wizards.
Book of Fire
A book containing a powerful magic of fire for magicians.
Cannon Tower
Cannon Towers are very effective against ground attacks, but cannot defend against aerial attacks. By equipping with the Destruction Machine item, Cannon Tower can be upgraded to a Destruction Machine which reinforces the bomb shrapnel to pierce through a huge part of enemies’ armor.
Lightning Tower
Lightning Towers are very effective against aerial attacks, but less effective against ground attacks. By equipping Storm Tower item, Lightning Towers can be upgraded which inturn improves the chain power and range, as well as create a static field around itself to strike all incoming enemies at max level.The amount of damage and attack range of a lightning tower is more than that of a cannon tower.
XP required to upgrade Castle Defense Items
XP is required in order to upgrade the knight, wizard and towers with additional items. These upgraded items will enhance damage, attack speed and range thereby allowing players to complete land battle stages and progress to the next round.
The following table below lists out the amount of XP required to upgrade the Knight, Wizard, Cannon Tower and Lightning Tower.

NOW OPEN – New stages in Castle Defense and the difficulties of stage 21/22 have been eased
Last week we announced the much awaited opening of new stages in Castle Defense. Stages 24-26 are open and live. The stage opening has also brought about an introduction to 4 new monsters namely Ancient Gargoyle, Elder Centaur, Galio and Hell Demon.
Also we are glad to inform you that the difficulties of Stage 21 and 22 have been eased after hearing much feedback from you. We hope now it is more enjoyable.

Castle Arena Guild Update
It’s great to see more guilds being established. Last week we added Russia, South Africa as our 2 additional guild nationalities to Castle Arena. Also, we have reduced the minimum requirement for guild members from 30 to 20 people.

We support PH guilds who are in difficult situations after Odette hit
We are currently communicating via Guild Managers or Assistant Guild Managers based in the Philippines to find out the current status of the guild members. Still many of them are not able to get in touch. We wish and pray for all our PH players. Stay safe and strong and return to Castle Arena battle in Jan 2022 and have fun together with us!
